Standards for the Protection of Minors
Standards for the Protection of Minors at the Museum of Illusions in Wrocław
(Short Version)
The Museum of Illusions in Wrocław conducts activities that cater to both adults and minors, allowing them to explore their interests. At our Museum, every child is treated with respect to ensure their visit is safe, engaging, and inspiring.
Violence against children in any form and by anyone is strictly prohibited—whether it is by Museum staff, parents or guardians, other visitors, or even other children.
We do not shout at children! We do not threaten them! We do not hit them!
We strive to prevent harm to children, and if we suspect such a situation is occurring, we act to ensure the child’s safety.
If you have questions or concerns, are a witness to, or suspect a case of harm, please report it to the child’s guardian or the Museum’s legal advisor.
Need Support?
If you are a parent or guardian, you can call the anonymous and free helpline 800 100 100 – a line for parents and teachers concerning children’s safety. This line is operated by the Empowering Children Foundation. It is available Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and additionally on Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
If you are a young person in need of a conversation, the Empowering Children Foundation operates a helpline at 116 111, providing support to children and adolescents up to the age of 18. The helpline is anonymous, free, and available 24/7.
Children can talk about anything: friendships, love, growing up, relationships with parents or siblings, school problems, or emotions they are experiencing. They can also seek support if they feel discriminated against, are experiencing violence, or are witnesses to it.
In cases where a child’s health or life is at risk, please call the emergency number 112.
